Food Waste Action Week

Three Parishes Community Fridge Food Waste Action Week – 17th to 23rd March 2025

We were delighted to welcome Kerry Mellor from Fritwell Community Fridge and many of our residents to a talk given by Kerry Mellor on the Fritwell Community Fridge.

We were able to host this talk in conjunction with Community Action Group Oxfordshire (Replenish) and Oxfordshire County Council because of us successfully applying for a grant to combat food waste. This means we have been able to make a reasonable donation to the Fritwell Community Fridge to support them continue their good work.

The slides from the talk have been shared for those of you who were not able to come. Hopefully these will help you learn more about the fridge and hopefully encourage you to go along and see what food delights you are able to get and help prevent it going to waste.
