Barnes Memorial Village Hall

The Social Club operates in the Village Hall and first began in 1977.

We open every Thursday night from 8.30pm – 11pm, serving a good range of beers, wines, and spirits, and all at prices far cheaper than you will find anywhere else. All profits made go back into the village – we are all volunteers.

We also organise a wide range of regular events – from Film Nights, quizzes, and beer tastings to dances, skittles, and the annual Eurovision party. If you fancy doing something else, let us know – we’re always open to ideas!

We show sporting events using the Village Hall projector and screen including the Football World Cup, Rugby World Cup, and other major competitions.

Membership is £10 per person per annum and runs from April – March every year. You can find out about our activities on our Facebook page!
